I have a simple birthday card to share with you today. I used 3 products to make this one and this is a quick one to make.
I had so much fun creating the soft background.

I started by die cutting a double stitched rectangle from Smooth White MFT Premium cardstock. Then I used Balloon Party Stencil to create the background.
I used only Ripe Raspberry and Tropical Teal inks. I wanted a very soft background which would add interest but still keep focus on the bold sentiment.

Once the background was done, I splattered some water on the background and once dry, stamped the sentiment from Happy Happy Birthday stamp set using Caribbean Sea ink multiple times. Also on the bottom, I dabbed a little Tropical Teal ink . Finally stamped the sentiment in grey and also stamped one more sentiment from Sweet Sixteen stamp set in black.
To finish the card I cut a fun patterned paper from Hip Hip Yay paper pad and glued it on the A2 size card base. Finally adhered the finished panel on the prepared card base.
I hope you like my card. Be sure to check MFT blog and also My Favorite Things YouTube channel for more inspiration.
