Hi everyone!

Here are the two cards I made for the final day of countdowns.

For my first card, I wanted to keep it very simple. I stamped the cute girl image from You Deserve the Royal Treatment stamp set and coloured her using Copic markers- for the dress- B39, B29, B28, B24, for hair- E59, E57, E55, shoes- E37, E35, E33, Star and crown- YR27, Y35.

I used coordinating dies to cut our the image. I added some grey ink using a blending brush to ground the image and stamped the sentiment from the same set. I mounted the card front on a Cornflower Blue card base.

For my second card, I started by die cutting the image from a white cardstock which I had centered as I intended to use the negative space.

I glued a piece of vellum behind the ‘window’. And I cut strips of patterned paper from Diagonal Gingham behind the vellum in such a way that they wpuld show through the vellum but look more muted. Then, I inlaid the image into the negative die cut.

Finally, stamped the sentinents from two stamp sets- Thrilled For you and A Big Thank you and glued the card front on a black card base.
