It’s time for another ‘Ready, Set, Christmas!’ Challenge on My Favorite Things blog!

I have a super fun card to inspire you to start your Christmas cards early so you can have a nice stash by the time it’s Holiday Season AND for chance to win a 👇

I started by stamping the super cute penguins from Chill Holiday stamp set on a piece of Neenah Solar white cardstock. I stamped the candycanes in such a way that they would make a heart. I also stamped the sentiment which is from the same set.

Then, I stamped the same images on a piece of masking paper and cut them out by hand and adhered them on the images. Using the Watercolor Wash Free Form Stencil, I used Distress Oxide inks to create the background. Then, I splattered white ink to represent snow.

Once everything was completely dry, I removed the stencil and the masks and coloured the images using Copic markers.

Penguins- W7, W5, YR04. For shadows on the white parts- W1, W0. Candycanes- R24, W3. Scraf and cap- BG49, BG07, BG13. Blush- R20.

Once I was done coloring, I used the largest die from A2 Stitched rectangle STAX Die-namics 2 and cut out the stitched panel. I glued it on a Beyond Blue card base.
