Freezin’ Season

Hi everyone!

I am back with a cute mini slimline card to share with you today. I find no-line colouring technique very challenging but at the same time the results are very satisfying.

I started by stamping the images from Freezin’ Season stamp set on a piece of Neenah Solar White cardstock 110 lb in a very pale ink. I don’t have any ink that I could use for this purpose except MFT grout grey hybrid ink which is now discontinued. You can use any alcohol marker friendly ink that’s available.

I used Copic markers to colour the cute little critters. I used coordinating dies to cut them out.

For the background, I cut a 3″×6″ Neenah Solar White cardstock and ink blended the background using MFT Premium Dye inks. I splattered water and when completely dry, stamped the sentiment with Versamark watermark ink and heat embossed it in white. Then, I used Torn paper edges Die-namics to cut out a panel with the torn edge design.

I also swiped the watermark ink pad over the top edge and heat embossed it white for extra interest.

Glued the images down in place and adhered the panel on a white slimline card base.

I hope you like the card. Be sure to check MFT blog and also My Favorite Things YouTube channel for more inspiration.
