Happy Brrr-thday!

Hi everyone!

Hope you had/ having a pleasant weekend. In my part of the world, the weekend is almost over and I’m not ready for the Monday yet!

I absolutely love watercolouring. There is nothing more relaxing than taking time to watercolour. When I watercolour, I don’t try to finish it quickly. I take time. Sometines even a couple of days- coming back to the project whenever the time permits.

The latest MFT release is SO awesome, filled with Holiday and wintry goodness! The SY Polar Opposites was the first set I thought about when I sat to craft.

I used only only one stamp set and one die for my card today- MFT Polar Opposites stamp set from SY line and MFT Stitched mini slimline STAX Die-namics

I started by stamping the images on a 3″×6″ Arches Cold press 300 GSM watercolor paper with a grey distress ink and used my Daniel Smith watercolors to color them. Then, I created a background freehand and once everything was completely dry, I stamped the trees from the same stamp set. I also stamped the sentiment. I used the slinline size rectangle and die cut a neat stitched panel from it.

I finally glued the panel on a a Kraft card base.

I hope you like the card I made. Be sure to check MFT blog and also My Favorite Things YouTube channel for more inspiration.
