I have a fun shaker card with floral goodness for today!
I usually don’t make shaker cards as they never turn out well for me. Either I add too many shaker elements or too few or they don’t shake! It’s really frustrating! But when I saw the Stitched Wildflowers Die-namics, I wanted to make something colourful and fun.

I paired the new die set with Flower Bouquet Builder Stencil and used Inside & Out Birthday Greetings for the sentiment. As the name goes, this stamp set has greetings that can be stamped inside the card as well. I absolutely love the script style sentiments that this set offers!

I also used the beautiful Wildflowers paper pad and die cut out a frame using MFT A2 Rectangular frame Die-namics. I started by die cutting the flowers and colouring them with MFT Premium Dye inks. I used Caribbean Sea, Tropical Tea, Candied Yam, Butterscotch and Moroccan spice.
Then, I die cut a double stitched rectangle from MFT Smooth White cardstock and used Jalapeno Popper to stencil some leaves. Then, I used Prickly Pear ink and blended some ink right on top of the stenciled leaves to soften them a little. I just wanted them in the backdrop after which I glued the flowers.

I stamped the sentiment and created the shaker part. I glued the die cut frame on a A2 card base and then glued the shaker too. Finally stamped the sentiment on the inside of the card.

I hope you like my card. Be sure to check MFT blog and also My Favorite Things YouTube channel for more inspiration.
