MFT and Friends August 2021 release

Hello everyone! I’m thrilled to be joining MFT for their fantastic August release!

I love each and every product from the release but this time, I decided to step out of my comfort zone and use one of the die sets. The critter stamp sets are adorable but they got to wait for now. 🙂

I used ‘Everything but the broom’ Die-namics and ‘Sweet little spell’ stamp set and Die-namics.

Here is my first card

It was my son that insisted that I use the die set and if you know me, I don’t do great with dies. LOL! Pinterest came to my rescue. 🙂 Now, I have two more card ideas that I will hopefully be sharing soon.

I made the layered skirt and I love how this card turned out. I also used my current favorite stencil- ‘watercolor wash (free form)’. This stencil is so versatile, I could use it on every card I make!

For my second card, I used the same die set but made a slimline card. I absolutely love the double stitched rectangle slimline dies! Again another staple in ones stash. Could be uses for any slimline card no matter what the theme. The largest die cut measures 3.25″Ă—8.25″.

For my last card, I decided to colour the sweetest witch image.  The stamp set is called ‘Sweet little spell’ from Tiddly Inks line. I also used the background stamp set called ‘City Block‘.

I created an emboss resist background and sponged Distress Oxide inks. I also used Oval Extraordinaire stencil in the backdrop. Finally, finished the card with heat embossed sentiment from the same stamp set.

I hope you like the cards. Be sure to check MFT blog for more inspiration.

Thanks for visiting me today! Hugs…Sindhu.

  2. I love all of the cards you created. That background stencil gives the perfect amount of extra color to your card. And I love the slimline card. Just perfect.
