One stamp set- 3 cards (using MFT ‘Double the fun’ stamp set)

Hi everyone!

I shared these cards on Crafty Meraki blog a couple of weeks ago. Thought I would share them here too.

For the post, I used a stamp set from MFT called ‘Double the fun’. It has adorable images and I absolutely love the set!

Here is a picture of all the cards together-

You will see that I used very limited supplies.
For my first card, I started by cutting a piece of watercolor cardstock in the size of 3.25″×8.25″. I wanted to create three separate scenes ona slimline card.
I stamped the images with Antique Linen Distress Ink and coloured the images with my Daniel Smith watercolors.
I added light wash of watercolor around the images.

I finally added an embossed sentiment on strips of Kraft cardstock.

Adhered the watercolored panel on Kraft card base measuring 3.5″×8.5″.

For my second card, I started by sketching an asymmetric shape with a pencil lightly as a guide on a piece of watercolor cardstock measuring 4″x5.25″.

I stamped the images in Antique Linen Distress Ink and colored them using Daniel Smith watercolors.

I adhered the coloured panel on top folding A2 size grey coloured card base.

I made the last card in a collage style. Here it is…

I started my trimming a piece of watercolor cardstock to 4″×5.25″. I drew pencil lines as guides and used a masking tape to separate sections for colouring .

I coloured each section and made sure that it was dry before proceeding to the next.

I also sketched a couple of trees and painted them

Once dry, I carefully removed the masking tape and adhered the coloured panel on top folding A2 size card base.

Supplies used-

1. MFT ‘Double the fun’ stamp set

2. Antique Linen Distress Ink

3. Arches Cold pressed watercolor paper 140 lb.

4.Daniel Smith watercolors.

I hope you like the cards..

Stay safe. Take care…

Sindhu.
