I already made many cards with the new release and here are a couple of cards that I want to share with you today.

Here is the first-

I used the new Wingman and Teach Me Words stamp sets. I also used the Teacher Heffy cuts. Coloured all the images with Zig Clean Color Real brush pens.

For the background, I did some ink smooshing with Distress Oxide ink. I coated the die cut with Wink of Stella to add shimmer and Nuvo drops- ‘Morning dew’ to add gloss.

For the next card, I used the new Party Palooza Stamp set and coordinating dies. I also used the Stitched Bubble background die and Everyday Sentiment Duos stamp set.

I die cut a circle window and added a piece on cardstock that has lots of images, from the Party Palooza stamp set, in black. I did a lot of masking and layered the stamped panel with a piece of vellum.

For the sub sentiment, I masked a part of sentiment from the Everyday sentiment duos stamp set to just stamp what I wanted.

I hope you like the cards..

The next stop is the awesome Crystal’s blog.

Thanks for visiting! Happy hopping!

  1. I love both of your cards! The parrot one is so cute and I love the scattered feathers.. and google eyes. And the cake card! I love the stitched circles on the backdrop as well as the window covered in vellum. Very cool.

  2. I love the light airy background you created for your first card with that sweet little bird holding his letter! The colors are so bright and cheery it is such a fun design 🙂 I also giggled at the googly eye! 🙂

  3. Love that parrot card.
The flying feathers are a fun idea.
    The cupcakes look delicious.
    thanks for sharing

  4. What fabulous cards! I know the fussy cutting was probably a pain, but I think it makes such a difference in incorporating images into the scene. Those additional feather on the parrot card add so much fun and movement. And then the cupcake card! The inside-out look is great to begin with, then to have that background to go with it? Above and beyond. Thanks for sharing these fantastic cards with us!

  5. Wonderful cards, Inespecially love the fun vibrancy of your parrot card and the stitched bubbles die from your second card. Thanks for the inspiration.
