Hi everyone!
We are back with the second Guest Design post and this time, it is Priya Sondhi. She really needs no introduction as she has been here in the crafting world for a long time and makes the most adorable stuff. I love everything she makes! Her cards for today are SO adorable, I don’t even have words for them! Her bright and cheerful style is sure to catch anyone’s eye. Have you seen the way she uses patterned papers? My jaw hits the floor everyone I see her cards.
We are alike in many ways and it didn’t take us much time to become friends. Today, I feel blessed to call her one of my best friends… She has always been supportive and encouraging. Our friendship goes beyond the papercrafts and that’s what makes it more precious. ๐ She is a beautiful girl inside and out. I hope some day I would be able to meet her in person… Thank you SO much for everything, Priya…

Hi All!
I am Priya Sondhi from Priya-n-Papers! I am super thrilled to be a guest blogger at paperminty.wordpress.com. My sweet crafty friend Sindhu has completed 5 years of blogging and paper crafting. Our love of all things cute and nice had brought us together as craft buddies. We instantly hit a chord when we saw each other work and started talking. As we talked, our chit chats went beyond crafting! She has a little 2 years munchkin whom I adore to the core! Love you Aggu!!
A little about me, I love all things papers! I started my paper crafting journey roughly 7 years back. I make cards, bookmarks, boxes, altered items, home decor, etc. I have been blogging for about 6 years now. I love making cards for my friends and family and recently opened a shop as well for my handmade creations. The joy you get in sending some handmade love is priceless. I love trying out new techniques and try to stretch my supplies as much as possible. But these days I am addicted to cute critters and watercoloring the cuties.

For this special post, I created 2 interactive cards. Recently I started exploring interactive cards and oh boy the joy to see things moving on your cards in priceless!
Card #1 : Fairy Birthday Wishes
Since it was Aggu’s birthday few days back, I created a fairy birthday card where fairy flies across the card.
I have used fairies sets from MFT and Lawn Fawn to complete my card. The slider channel dies is also from MFT. The galaxy background has been created by ink blending using various distress inks on Tim Holtz distress cardstock.
Here are few pics with fairy in action.
I colored all the images with Kuretake Zig clean clear brush pens and fussy cut these with Tim Holtz scissors.
Card 2 : Ocean of love with mermaid
In this card, I created an ocean scene where mermaid is swimming and jumping around the water. I used MFT Mermazing stamp set, Wavy Coloring Book background stamp, MFT ocean waves dies and MFT circle spinner channel dies to create this card. All the images and the background has been stamped on Strathmore cold press 140 LBS watercolor paper.
Let’s have a look at mermaid in action. ๐
Again, all the images are colored using Kuretake Zig clean clear brush pens. The background has also been created by zig brush pens. I brushed the colors randomly on heat embossed background and spritz some water so the color flows to all corner.
I have also added a layer of blue vellum paper to make it look like water.
The sentiment is again heat embossed. I colored with by using same zig colors I used for the background and blended it with Spectrum Noir sparkle pen.
I hope you all liked the cards and I once again want to wish Sindhu congratulations for 5th bloganniversary. May you have many more successful years ahead!!!
I hope you love her projects like I did.
See you soon with another guest post…
