a mermaid hello!

I wanted to share a card I made for the MFT sketch challenge.

As soon as I saw it, I knew I would do. I already had coloured the cute mermaids and was waiting for inspiration to make a card using them. Thanks to this sketch, I made a card without too much struggle.

I rotated the sketch to fit my idea.

I die cut a window on the front of the card usinf MFT Die-namics Stitched Dome Frames, stamped a background using the ‘cheese cloth’ cling background stamp.

Then, on a piece of Strathmore Bristol cardstock, I blended a couple of Distress oxide inks  (Wilted violet and Broken China)and stuck it on the inside of the card and adhered two mermaid images from the Birdie Brown line, Mermazing stamp set on the inked background in such a way that the mermaids would peek through the window. 🙂 I used sentiments from ‘adorable elephants‘ and ‘hog heaven‘ stamp sets.

I hope you like the card… 🙂
