card set- Mini blossoms

Hi
I promise this is the last post for today! 😛
Here is a card set I made for Altenew’s Mach Challenge. The colours really inspired me to make these cards.
Here is the inspiration picture… The hearts in the picture made me use them on my cards.
This card is the first one I made of three.
I took a 4.25”x 5.5” piece of 110lb Neenah Solar white card stock and stamped the images from Altenew’s Mini blossom set randomly using Altenew Coral berry ink and Hero Arts Raspberry jam and field greens.
Added coloured pencil highlights to add interest to the solid images.
Using SSS Stitched rectangle dies cut out a panel and a frame (that I used on the next card). Adhered the panel on a A2 size top folding card.
I then stamped the sentiment, trimmed it down, added some gold silk thread behind the sentiment on a die cut vellum heart. The vellum helped the sentiment to make the sentiment stand out from the busy background.
I went over the vellum with Wink of Stella brush. This isn’t my original idea. I saw it on You tube. Unfortunately I don’t remember where I saw it. If I come across it again, I will link to the video.
Look how shimmery the vellum looks?! 🙂 Love it!

The second card is my favorite of the lot. I love the stamping and the frame on this one. I made a mask. You can find it and also one more card that’s similar HERE.
I added the frame from my previous card.
The sentiment is from Label Love stamp set. The vellum here also has Wink of Stella on it. 🙂

I wanted the third card to be a shaker card but OH MY GOD!!! I completely messed it up. See the scanty use of sequins? I’m never ever going to do this again. I wish I had added lot more sequins.  To cover it up I added some thread behind the sentiment 😀

I hope you like this set of cards.

Thanks for visiting!

take care.
