Flowers and trees!

Hi everyone!

I’m here today to share a couple of cards and a tag that I made.

The first is the card I made for Altenew challenge.

The blue with white ink spatters in the inspiration picture caught my eye and I knew what I wanted my card to look like. Rare are those occasions when I actually plan my cards…this is one on them.

All the pink and the clusters of flowers made me add a bunch of them inside the shaker frame. I Couldn’t ignore the gold in the inspiration picture, hence the gold confetti for my shaker elements.

I love how the blue background turned out. I first inked a piece of white card stock with chipped Sapphire distress ink and added white ink splatters with my paint brush. After it dried, assembled the whole card.

I just LOVE the Painted Flowers stamp set from Altenew. It seemed perfect for this challenge.

I made the shaker frame using Mama Elephant Femme Frames and Pretty Pink Posh Stitched Duo 2 dies.

The sentiment is from Altenew ‘Ori-kami‘.

The next two are Holiday themed. A couple of months ago, I bought Mama Elephant holiday stamps sets. They are so adorable. One of them is ‘Cozy Christmas’. The images in that set are super cute!

First, the tag. I cut the tag out of Pretty Pink Posh die and and masked the stitched area. I didn’t want the ink on the stitched dimension.

I inked Tumbled glass distress ink very lightly. Then on a iece of white cardstock, I stamped the images, colored and fussy cut them out. The tree image was too large for the tag, so I cut off the bottom layer. Submitting both the tag and card to ‘Mama Elephant and Me’ challenge (Theme is Holiday cards and tags) , Addicted to Stamps and More ( Cue word is ‘Holiday’) and the tag alone to Create Something Catchy Challenge. The theme is ‘Christmas tags’.

The last is the shaker card made using the same stamp and die as the above tag. On the card base, dis lot of masking and stamping. If it were not for the shaker frame, it would have been a one layer card!

The sequins are form Pretty Pimk Posh and the gold confetti was locally bought.

A close up of the cute couple!! 🙂

I hope you like what I made. Thanks for visiting!
